Three Young Players Celtic Must Sign Before Transfer Deadline Day

It has already been a brilliant season thus far for Celtic Football Club.  They are one match from beating the Lisbon Lions’ record for most matches unbeaten in Scotland.  In addition to this, they are back on the map with a young, progressive manager that loves to play real football.  As part of the transition, Brendan Rodgers has made it part of the fabric of the club to buy and then develop young players into stars.  This will allow the club to grow in not only results but also in finances as they are ready to be sold off eventually.  Here are three more men he could sign to help move the club forward:

3 Rolando Aarons

You can never have enough wingers with high potential in your squad, and with Aarons you would be seeing Celtic sign yet another. Aarons has blazing pace and great raw talent, but the Jamaican needs just a little bit of work and consistent time on the field.  At Celtic, he could find exactly that.  Rodgers could harness him into a fine player, and then Celtic would be potentially looking at a small fortune.

2 Sheyi Ojo

This signing would most likely come in the form of a loan deal, but Celtic could look to bring in the young Nigerian winger from Liverpool for a short spell. With the FA Cup being the only opportunity for him to seemingly get a look-in, it could make some sense for him to reunite with former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers.

1 Danny Ward

This one would probably have to come in the summer, but it could be a very useful move for Celtic. Rodgers will want to set up camp with as many young players as possible. Danny Ward has impressed in every loan spell he’s had from Liverpool, but he’s still not received the opportunity to go out and lead the side at Anfield.  It could turn out to be quite the coup for the former Liverpool boss.
