Hull defender Harry Maguire is said to have attracted the interest of Everton and Southampton, according to reports from the Sun (via HITC). The 23-year-old has impressed at Hull this season and is set to turn down a new contract offer.
Ronald Koeman is set to be on the lookout for a new centre-back as Phil Jagielka is set to leave the club and Maguire could serve as a replacement. He also needs to find competition for the hit and miss Ramiro Funes Mori.
Macguire is far from a finished article as he has made mistakes this season however given his young age he can certainly develop further and has potential to succeed.
He would also be a good addition to the Southampton side. They will definitely need to be on the lookout for new defenders given that Jose Fonte left for West Ham this month and Virgil Van Dyk is attracting interest from high profile clubs.
