Premier League clubs Liverpool and Chelsea have reportedly made enquiries about Inter Milan midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, according to the Sun. The Frenchman has barely featured this season for the Italian club and could be headed to the Premiership in a bid to revitalize his career.
He has made just 11 appearances. The likes of Ever Banega and Joao Mario have been preferred over him in the Inter pecking order.
The arrival of Roberto Gagliardini from Serie A outifit Atalanta in a £23 million deal serves to further reduce Kondogbia’s chances of regular first team minutes.
However he could be allowed to revitalize his career as Chelsea and Liverpool are interested. Kondogbia’s physical style of football is thought to be well-suited to the English Premier League.
Considering that he is not getting first team football and Chelsea and Liverpool are both clubs who will likely submit good bids for the player, the chances of him leaving are high. It will be a contest between who submits the higher bid.
