Everton Pressure AC Milan Over Transfer- Report

AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani is feeling the pressure (via Gazetta) right now over the possible signing of Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu.  Deulofeu has seemingly been a long-term target of the Milanese club, yet he is still yet to sign for the fallen giants of Italian football.

With a resurgent side this season with a lot of young parts and pieces, Milan believe they can get the best out of Deulofeu in a team that also would contain former Liverpool castaway Suso.  There’s just one catch here.

Galliani has confirmed that Everton do not want to loan to Milan with an option.  Galliani does not want to be forced into purchasing the 23-year-old Spanish winger this summer, but that is what Everton and their manager Ronald Koeman want as they seek to clear out some space.

Both sides have a point here, but in the end the ball is in Everton’s court.  It’s clear that they are not interested in just loaning him out only to see him return and then be sold or loaned out yet again.  Expect some sort of agreement to happen soon, or so we can hope.
