Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly ready to sell star striker Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez and the Daily Star (via German news outlet Blid) has indicated that Hernandez could be purchased for a bargain price.

Leverkusen are looking to sell Hernandez because of his poor form and because he only has 18 months remaining on his current contract. To make things worse, Hernandez has reportedly angered his teammates due to his poor work rate in matches.

The Sun is reporting that Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham could all be interested in bidding for Hernandez for a reasonable price.

Chicharito is not having his best season this year with only 5 goals in 15 league matches, but he is only 28 years old and he has a fantastic track record of scoring goals.

Hernandez scored 17 goals in only 28 league games last season for Bayer Leverkusen, and he had 3 seasons scoring 10 goals or more when he was with Manchester United.

It seems that Leverkusen is very willing to sell Chicharito, so a return to one of these EPL teams seems very likely, although it may take until the summer transfer window to get a deal completed.
