According to the Daily Star, via Spanish website Fichajes, Liverpool could be targeting Barcelona’s full-back, Aleix Vidal,
Aleix Vidal has been linked to Liverpool for the past few weeks, so it might be more than just another transfer rumour. The 26-year-old Spanish right winger didn’t have such a big role in Barcelona’s last season, playing only 9 league games and 5 cup games, but unfortunately, without scoring any goals.
Because of that, he may be on his way out, but that certainly doesn’t mean that he wouldn’t contribute to the Liverpool’s 2016/17 campaign.
Vidal can play as a right winger or a right back, and his great speed is something that Liverpool could surely use on their way to chasing a Champions League spot next season.
Klopp may want to have versatility in the attacking lines, and bringing Aleix Vidal in would ensure that he has bigger squad rotation possibilities. With several Liverpool players facing the exit door, the team could surely use fresh, young blood among their lines.
