Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli is currently being courted by La Liga outfit Espanyol, according to reports from Spanish publication Fichajes
The signing of Mario Balotelli has proven to be an unmitigated disaster for Liverpool and the Reds are understandably keen on offloading the erratic Italian during the upcoming summer.
Balotelli set for Spain move?
Balotelli spent last season on loan at AC Milan but after having managed to score only one goal throughout the course of the campaign, the Serie A outfit are not too keen on turning the move into a permanent one.
As a result, it was believed that Liverpool would find it very difficult to dispense with the services of Balotelli but as a huge boost, it has emerged that the 25-year-old is attracting interest from a number of clubs.

According to reports from Spanish publication Fichajes, Balotelli is wanted by La Liga outfit Espanyol and they could place an enquiry for the Italian international over the next few weeks.
A potential stumbling block in the prospective move is the fact that Balotelli has repeatedly expressed his desire to earn a permanent stay in Italy and the striker may have to take a huge pay cut if indeed he chooses Espanyol as his destination.
