Liverpool are looking at the possibility of signing Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart in the summer, according to reports from France Football (as cited by the Daily Express)
Simon Mignolet was handed a new contract by manager Jurgen Klopp back in January but the decision left many Liverpool supporters baffled.
Mignolet has been very inconsistent for Liverpool since his arrival three seasons ago and has done nothing to justify his new deal, after putting in a number of shaky performances over the past few months.
Hart set for Liverpool move?
It is now believed that Klopp is also having reservations regarding Mignolet and the German boss is said to be looking to sign a new goalkeeper in the summer.
A number of names have been linked with Liverpool over the past few weeks and now according to reports emerging out of France, claims have been made that the Reds are considering a move for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart.

Hart is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers around Europe but reports have claimed that incoming City boss Pep Guardiola wants to replace the England international with Barcelona stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
If indeed Hart is displaced as the number one choice at the Etihad Stadium, he will surely be looking for an exit from City and Liverpool are keen on jumping at the chance of securing the services of the 29-year old if he is made available.
