Following a fantastic Derby victory over arch rivals Everton, a full of confidence Liverpool side will host relegation-threatened Newcastle United this Saturday at Anfield. While Liverpool have been in fine form in their last few matches, the story is the exact opposite for their guests.

Currently sitting at 19th place in the Premier League, a defeat at Anfield will surely seal the relegation as far as Rafael Benitez’ men are concerned. Thus, while he might be looking forward to a return to Liverpool, Benitez would know that anything less than a victory would push his current side further towards the drop.

Even though Jurgen Klopp’s men absolutely outclassed Everton in all fields of the game, that victory came at a huge price for Liverpool. As a result of Fumes Mori’s tackle which earned him a Red Card, Divock Origi isn’t expected to play any part in the remaining matches this season.

The Belgian was enjoying a form of his life before sustaining this injury, as Origi had managed 5 goals in his last 5 outings for Liverpool. Thus, while this knee injury will be a huge setback for the Striker himself, Jurgen Klopp is now left behind with just 1 fit striker.

Talking about other team news, there are no fresh developments on the injury front for Klopp as the likes of Ings, Gomez and Benteke are still sidelined.

Keeping one eye on the UEFA Europa League Semi Final game against Villarreal on the upcoming Thursday, Jurgen Klopp will have to make a couple of key decisions regarding his starting XI against Newcastle United.

While most of his senior players played full 90 minutes against Everton on Wednesday, we might see a host of changes in the Liverpool squad on Saturday
