Amid strong interest from Liverpool, Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen has revealed that he is frustrated over the lack of playing time at the Camp Nou this Season, as reported by Football Fancast.

Ter Stegen has been a revelation since signing for the Catalan Giants in the summer of 2014 for 9.7 Million Pounds. Upon his signature, the Barcelona faithful termed the German as a long-term successor of the outgoing Victor Valdes.

However, looking at his first two Seasons at the Camp Nou, the 23-year-old has been restricted to playing in the Champions League.

Although he won that competition with Barcelona last Season, Ter Stegen is reportedly frustrated over making just 4-appearances in LA LIGA during his first two seasons at the club.

Speaking about his frustrations over the lack of playing time here is what the German shot-stopper had to offer …

“I want to take the next step and to play more. So the situation is clear: if nothing changes, we have to talk,” he said. “At the end of the season, I’ll have played about 25 games. “In the long run, these 25 games per season are not enough for me”

Thus, while Ter Stegen is hinting of a possible exit, a move to Liverpool seems highly unlikely considering the fact that the Reds has awarded Simon Mignolet with a 5-year-contract only this Season.
