A report by Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport has linked Liverpool with Italian forward Giuseppe Rossi and Spanish holding midfielder Mario Suarez.
The Reds have struggled for goals this season and the inclusion of Rossi may very well be on the cards. With Danny Ings out for the season, Divock Origi out for a month and Daniel Sturridge yet to regain match fitness, out-of-form Christian Benteke is the only fit forward that the Reds have at their disposal.
Former Manchester United and Villareal star Rossi is being tipped as a potential target for the Reds. The 28-year-old striker has found goals hard to come by this season as he has hit the back of the net just the two times.
However, a return to the Premier League for the former Manchester United man could bring the forward back into form.
Fiorentina midfielder Mario Suarez is being seen as yet another potential transfer target for the Anfield side.
The 28-year-old former Atletico Madrid man only just signed for La Viola in the summer but has found game time hard to come by. Jurgen Klopp could decide to make a move for the combative midfielder as he aims to provide some top class cover ahead of a very key spell of games.
