Liverpool still don’t know what to do with the everlasting misfit Mario Balotelli but, despite of that, they have added new firepower to their forward line.
Danny Ings, Roberto Firmino and Christian Benteke are apparently not enough artillery for the Reds’ manager, Brendan Rodgers, who, according to recent reports from Spain, is still willing to add one or two more forwards to the team.
The current Valencia centre forward and former Manchester City player Álvaro Negredo has been recently linked with Liverpool and, although the Madrid born striker claimed to only be focused on his work with the Spanish side, the truth is that Los Che might need to sell him in order to end their payment agreement with the Citizens.
On the other hand, there is Barcelona’s young diamond Adama Traoré, who Liverpool want to have on loan for the upcoming season, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
Barça’s 19-year old winger is one of the most impressive players forged at La Masia over the last decade and the Catalan team is reluctant to sell him or let him leave on loan.
Last season, Adama played for Barcelona B in Liga Adelante (Spanish football second tier), but it is not likely that the same thing will happen again this term, since Barça reserves’ team was recently relegated to the Spanish third tier, something that at this stage might help Liverpool’s intents of signing the player.
