Arsenal’s Top 3 Youth Prospects

Dan Crowley

Signed from Aston Villa last Summer and only 16 years of age, Dan Crowley is regarded as one of the most exciting players to be training within the Arsenal youth ranks.

Drawing comparisons to established Arsenal midfield play-maker, Jack Wilshere, Crowley possesses many similar attributes to the former Arsenal youth graduate. Excellent close-quarters ball-control, superior vision, dribbling, and the ability to setup pin-point passes on a dime, are traits most commonly associated with Jack Wilshere, and the same rings true for Crowley as well if he can fulfill his potential.

An English under-17 International, Crowley is already establishing a pedigree in his burgeoning career. He was quite sought after at the time of his signing with Arsenal and despite only be 16, was considered a small coup simply because of the amount of interest the player was garnering.

Not really possessing any weaknesses other than inexperience itself, his skill set perfectly fits that of an Attacking Midfielder.

There you have it, the top three Arsenal future prospects. While nothing is guaranteed in football, one can’t help but hope that his/her favorite club can unleash the next Leo Messi on the world, however unlikely that would be.

The future looks bright for Arsenal and under Arsene Wenger, the club will be heading into the next Premier League season full of confidence following their FA Cup triumph.
