The Liga MX Femenil Liguilla is set. The Apertura 2026 regular season ended on Friday, November 6, and the eight quarterfinalists are confirmed under the tournament’s new two-group format.
Monterrey Femenil, Tigres UANL Femenil, FC Juarez Femenil and Toluca Femenil advanced from Group A. Club America Femenil, Chivas de Guadalajara Femenil, Pumas UNAM Femenil and Pachuca Femenil advanced from Group B.
The quarterfinals are reported to run from Tuesday, November 10 to Sunday, November 15. Every series is played over two legs. The league has not yet posted the confirmed fixtures on its official site, so the dates and kickoff times below are the reported schedule and will be updated once the league confirms them.
The Liga MX Femenil Quarterfinal Pairings
- Monterrey Femenil vs Pachuca Femenil: first in Group A against fourth in Group B
- Club America Femenil vs Toluca Femenil: first in Group B against fourth in Group A
- Tigres UANL Femenil vs Pumas UNAM Femenil: second in Group A against third in Group B
- Chivas de Guadalajara Femenil vs FC Juarez Femenil: second in Group B against third in Group A
How the New Format Works
The Apertura 2026 regular season split the 18 clubs into two groups of nine. The top four in each group moved straight into the quarterfinals.
The pairings cross the groups. Each group winner plays the fourth-placed team from the other group, and each runner-up plays the other group’s third-placed team.
Every series is played over two legs. The second leg is hosted by the team that finished higher in its group, with one exception explained below.
If a series finishes level on aggregate, the team with the better group position advances to the semifinals. There is no extra time and no penalty shootout in the quarterfinals.
Club America Femenil Give Up the Second Leg at Home
Club America Femenil finished first in Group B and earned the right to close their series at home. They will not use it.
The club announced that the order of home advantage against Toluca Femenil is reversed. The first leg is at Estadio Banorte on Wednesday, November 11, and the second leg is in Toluca on Sunday, November 15.
America said Estadio Banorte is unavailable on the second-leg date because of a prior commitment between the stadium and the NFL. That agreement predates the league publishing its calendar.
The tiebreak edge still belongs to America. If the aggregate score finishes level, America advance on group position.

Toluca Femenil claimed the last Group A place with 27 points.
Group B went down to the final day. Pumas UNAM Femenil beat Atletico San Luis in a direct meeting on November 6 to jump into third place with 20 points.

What Comes Next
The four series winners move into the semifinals. The tournament then pauses for the November FIFA international window before the semifinal series are played.
The Apertura 2026 final is also played over two legs, in December. Unlike the quarterfinals, a level aggregate score in the final goes to a penalty shootout.
