Paramount+ will be the only place in the United States to watch the Concacaf Champions Cup from 2027. CBS Sports announced on Thursday, October 22 that it has added the tournament’s exclusive U.S. Spanish-language rights to the English-language rights it secured in July.

From February 2027, every Champions Cup match streams on Paramount+ in English and Spanish. The deal runs through the 2030 edition.

What did CBS Sports announce?

CBS Sports is now the exclusive U.S. rights holder for the Champions Cup in both languages. The Spanish rights, announced on October 22, were the final piece of the package.

Paramount+ will stream all 51 Champions Cup matches each year. The first edition under the new deal, the tournament’s 62nd, runs from February to June 2027.

Which other Concacaf tournaments are included?

The deal covers Concacaf’s other two club competitions as well. The Central American Cup adds 58 matches a year, and the Caribbean Cup adds 28.

In total, Paramount+ will carry 137 Concacaf club matches per season. Every one of them will be available in English and Spanish.

Who showed the Champions Cup in the United States before?

FOX Sports held the English rights through the 2026 edition. Its coverage aired on FS1 and FS2, with select matches free on Tubi.

TelevisaUnivision held the Spanish rights over the same period, across Univision, TUDN and ViX. Its run also ends with the 2026 edition.

TelevisaUnivision keeps the Spanish rights to Concacaf’s national team competitions, including the Gold Cup and the Nations League. Only the club tournaments are moving.

Can I watch any Champions Cup matches for free?

Yes, a selection of them. CBS Sports says select matches will air on CBS Sports Network in English.

Select matches will also stream free on the CBS Sports Golazo Network in English. The CBS Sports app will carry select matches free in English and Spanish.

The draw for the 2027 edition airs on the CBS Sports Golazo Network on Monday, December 21.

What does this mean for Liga MX fans?

Liga MX clubs are the Champions Cup’s biggest draw. Their fans in the United States have split their viewing between FOX Sports and TelevisaUnivision for years.

From 2027, one subscription covers every match, whichever language you watch in. Paramount+ is available on its own app and as a Paramount+ channel on Prime Video.

The 2026 edition is the last under the old deals. When the Champions Cup returns in February 2027, it returns in one place.
