Is Atletico Mineiro vs Montevideo City Torque on TV in the US?
Yes. The match airs live on beIN Sports and beIN Sports en Español at 6:00 PM ET, and it also streams on beIN Sports Connect. beIN Sports holds the U.S. rights to the Copa Sudamericana, and both of its channels carry this semifinal, one in English and one in Spanish.
There is no second network involved. There is no Univision, Telemundo or FOX simulcast to stumble across. If you are watching this match in the United States, you are watching it on beIN, one way or another.
Is Atletico Mineiro vs Montevideo City Torque Free to Watch?
No confirmed free option exists for this match. Some U.S. soccer broadcasts can be watched free with a digital antenna because they air on over-the-air networks. That does not apply here: beIN Sports is a pay channel, and beIN Sports Connect requires a subscription or a participating TV provider login. Every confirmed viewing path for this match requires a paid TV package or subscription of some kind.
Where to Find beIN Sports
beIN Sports is not as widely carried as the big U.S. sports networks, and that is the main hurdle for this match. Two of the biggest providers do not carry it at all: there is no beIN Sports on DirecTV and no beIN Sports on Xfinity. If either of those is your provider, the channels are not in your package at any price.
Traditional carriage does exist, just in patches. Dish, Spectrum, Verizon Fios and Optimum all carry beIN Sports, along with a group of smaller cable systems. Most U.S. viewers, though, reach beIN through streaming: Fubo and Fanatiz carry both beIN channels, YouTube TV carries them in its Sports Plus add-on, and beIN Sports Connect carries them directly for $5.99 a month.
Is Atletico Mineiro vs Montevideo City Torque on Fubo?
Yes. Fubo carries beIN Sports and beIN Sports en Español, and this semifinal airs on both channels, so Fubo subscribers can watch it live in English or Spanish.
Every Confirmed Streaming Option
beIN Sports Connect. beIN’s own streaming service carries both beIN channels live, including this match. It is the cheapest confirmed option at $5.99 a month, and viewers with a participating TV provider can also sign in with those credentials.
Fubo. Fubo carries beIN Sports and beIN Sports en Español, so the match streams live on Fubo for subscribers.
Fanatiz. Fanatiz carries the beIN Sports channels in its Front Row package, which also includes the rest of its South American soccer coverage. It is the cheapest of the multichannel services.
YouTube TV. YouTube TV carries both beIN channels in its Sports Plus add-on, so subscribers with that add-on can watch the semifinal live there as well.
No other U.S. streaming option is confirmed for this match. If anything changes before kickoff, this article will be updated.
Match Preview
This semifinal pairs the tournament’s nearly men with its surprise package. Atletico Mineiro lost the 2025 final to Lanus on penalties and are in the semifinals for the third straight year. Montevideo City Torque are playing a CONMEBOL semifinal for the first time in the club’s history.
Atletico’s road ran through the hardest quarterfinal of the round. Eduardo Domínguez’s side topped Group B with 10 points, beat Red Bull Bragantino 3-2 on aggregate in the round of 16, then lost the first leg at Santos 2-0. In the return at Arena MRV they won 4-2, with Tomás Cuello scoring in stoppage time, and took the shootout 3-1 as goalkeeper Gabriel Delfim saved three penalties.
Torque’s run has been built the same way, on comebacks. Marcelo Méndez’s side won Group F with 13 points and beat Tigre in the round of 16, then lost the quarterfinal first leg 2-0 at Cienciano in Cusco. The return at the Estadio Centenario finished 3-0: Salomón Rodríguez scored twice and Nahuel Da Silva sealed the tie in stoppage time.
Recent Form
All competitions, Atletico arrive unbeaten in six matches, with four wins and two draws. That run includes Sunday’s 2-1 league win over Santos at Arena MRV, achieved with several starters rested, a 2-2 draw at Athletico Paranaense and a 1-0 home win over Red Bull Bragantino in the Brasileirao.
Torque’s line is the opposite: one win in their last five matches in all competitions, with two draws and two defeats. The win mattered, though. Beating Danubio 1-0 on Friday, October 9 kept them top of the Uruguayan Clausura with 22 points, one ahead of Liverpool, after a 2-0 loss at Nacional earlier that week.
Team News
Atletico’s injury list is long. First-choice goalkeeper Everson is out with a fractured left foot, so quarterfinal hero Gabriel Delfim keeps the gloves. Defender Ruan Tressoldi, midfielders Fred and Gustavo Scarpa, and forward Mateo Cassierra are all out with thigh injuries.
The news is better elsewhere for Atletico. Tomás Cuello and Tomás Pérez return after serving league suspensions, and the starters rested against Santos on Sunday, including Lyanco, Vitão, Renan Lodi, Maycon and Bernard, are all available again.
Torque report no confirmed absences. Méndez is expected to keep the side that beat Danubio, built around Salomón Rodríguez, the tournament’s top scorer with seven goals in this competition.
Key Storylines
The first leg is Atletico’s to lose. Atletico have won 15 of their last 18 home matches in CONMEBOL competitions, and the second leg is at the Estadio Centenario in Montevideo. Anything less than a lead to take to Uruguay leaves this tie wide open.
Torque have not been scared of Brazil. Torque are unbeaten in four matches against Brazilian clubs in CONMEBOL play, with two wins and two draws, and their quarterfinal comeback against Cienciano showed a side that does not fold when a tie turns against it.
Rodríguez against a patched-up defense. Salomón Rodríguez leads the tournament’s scoring chart with seven goals. Atletico’s defense is missing Ruan Tressoldi, and their goalkeeper is Everson’s 24-year-old backup, even if Gabriel Delfim played like anything but a backup in the quarterfinals.
The winners advance to the final on November 21 at the Estadio Metropolitano in Barranquilla, Colombia, against the winners of the other semifinal, Boca Juniors vs Vasco da Gama.
When is the second leg of Atletico Mineiro vs Montevideo City Torque?
The second leg is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at the Estadio Centenario in Montevideo, with kickoff at the same time, 6:00 PM ET.
