Team News
Cruz Azul is led by Raúl Gutiérrez, who took charge in late August after a heavy defeat to Club America prompted a coaching change. The club added Spanish midfielder Alicia de la Cuerda, the 22-year-old former Real Madrid B captain, on September 17, and she could be in line for her debut (ESPN). Neither club has announced new injury absences ahead of the match.
Chivas Guadalajara Femenil is coached by Antonio Contreras. Alicia Cervantes leads the attack with seven goals this tournament, fourth in the scoring table, while Denise Castro has added three. The visitors have kept two clean sheets in their last three matches.
