Monterrey has been a bit disappointing this season, currently sitting in 12th place with five points, but does have two games in hand. Los Rayados had a disastrous display in the Club World Cup, finishing in fifth place that has fans wanting manager Javier Aguirre out of the team.
Los Regios have an impressive roster with players like Maxi Meza, Luis Romo and Rogelio Funes Mori. Defender Stefan Medina will miss out on this game due to a red card and he will be a significant absence in the backline, especially against this top of the tabe Puebla side.
