The Club America vs Atletico San Luis Liga MX match will be broadcast live online and on TV as Las Aguilas host Los Tuneros at the Estadio Azteca this Saturday, February 5, at 5:00 p.m. Pacific.
Club America has had a very disappointing 2022 Clausura campaign, currently in 14th place with just one point from two games played. The Mexico City side is coming off a highly uneventful 2-0 loss to current Liga MX Champs’ Atlas at the Estadio Azteca.
Uruguayan striker Federico Vinas received a red card in that match against Atlas as he will not be available for Los Azulcremas against San Luis. A lot of the blame for America’s current form is falling on manager Santiago Solari, who needs to start getting positive results, especially at home.
Atletico San Luis has also had a lackluster campaign, currently dead last in the Liga MX with no points from three games. Los Rojiblancos have only given up four goals this season, but have failed to score any goals at all.
Players like Abel Hernandez and Rubens Sambueza have been ineffective this season as it has been a frustrating campaign. San Luis has enough talent to be able to score on a consistent basis as time will tell if the front office made the right decisions with some of the players that were brought in.
