The Liga MX is set to come back next month on July 24, but there are still several foreseeable obstacles that can delay that date. The biggest one being Covid-19 as all teams are taking tests to see if any players or staff have the disease.
Chivas was one of the latest teams to take the tests and the results came back negative for all players and staff. There was a lot of controversy in recent weeks as there were rumors that certain players like Antonio Briseno or Eduardo Lopez had the disease.
Chivas has been very quiet in the transfer market, but sporting director Ricardo Pelaez did confirm that the team is looking to possibly move Raul Gudino and Jose Juan Vazquez. There were also several rumors linking striker JJ Macias with a move to Europe, but Pelaez denied that there were any offers from European clubs.

Chivas were also after midfielder Aldo Rocha, but that deal fell through as any new signings seem unlikely for Los Rojiblancos.
