The Chivas vs Veracruz Liga MX match will be broadcast live online and on TV as Los Rojiblancos host Los Tiburones Rojos at the Estadio Akron this Saturday, November 23, at 7:00 PM Pacific.

With Monterrey’s victory over Atlas, Chivas has been eliminated from making the 2019 Apertura playoffs. It has been another very disappointing season for Los Rojiblancos, but there were some positives to take with Luis Fernando Tena as manager. It seems that “El Flaco” will continue as manager as Chivas looks to move on with Ricardo Pelaez as sporting director in 2020.

There are some talented players on this Chivas team like Oswaldo Alanis and Isaac Brizuela, but there clearly needs to be several changes heading into next season. Los Tapatios are the heavy favorites in this match due to Veracruz’s terrible form, but a win will not mean much from this match.

Veracruz has been the worst team this season and one of the worst teams in Liga MX history. Several players like Colin Kazim-Richards, Cristian Menendez, Daniel Villalva and Bryan Carrasco have already left the club before this match.

There are reports that players are only receiving 10 percent of their total wages for this season as the problems continue for the Escualos. The port city team may not even be in the Liga MX next season as there will be a meeting to decide Los Tiburones‘ future soon.
