Pumas UNAM is not expected to be a title contender this season considering the team’s poor performances in recent seasons. The Mexico City team hired Spanish coach Michel, who could become a great addition to the league.
During the offseason, Pumas did not have any significant new signings, yet they did add Nicolas Freire, Juan Pablo Vigon, Martin Barragan, and Juan Miguel.
