Club America has not had a great preseason so far with losses against Boca Juniors and River Plate. However, Las Aguilas were missing several key players as they were on vacation after the Copa America.

The capital city team has added Juan Pablo Vigon, Martin Barragan and Nicolas Friere so far and has not lost very many players. Pumas UNAM is a team that has the potential to be competitive in the 2019 Apertura, but clearly still needs to add some players.
