The Mexico vs Italy U-20 World Cup match will be broadcast live online and on TV as El Tri play Gli Azzurri at the Stadion Miejski w Gdyni this Thursday, May 23, 2019, at 9:00 AM Pacific.

Mexico has a strong squad, but is in Group B of the competition, which features Italy, Japan and Ecuador. Some of the standout players for El Tri include Real Betis midfielder Diego Lainez and Leon striker Jose Juan Macias.

Lainez has not been dazzling in Spain recently, but Macias had an impressive Liga MX tournament as he scored 10 goals throughout the competition. Other intriguing players for Mexico include Club America defender Carlos Vargas and Cruz Azul midfielder Misael Dominguez, among other Liga MX players.

Italy has a good core of players that can succeed in this Group B of the tournament. There are not a plethora of players from the top teams in Italy, but there are still a few like Marco Oliveri of Juventus and Raoul Bellanova of AC Milan.

However, one of the better players on the team is Inter Milan striker Andrea Pinamonti as he did have an impressive season out on loan with Frosinone this past season.

Mexico vs Italy Prediction

FutnSoccer predicts a 1-1 draw between both teams as this will be a hard-fought match as both Mexico and Italy have a lot of talent on their respective rosters.
