Chivas de Guadalajara is coming off its first loss in the 2019 Clausura tournament after three consecutive victories to start off the new campaign. Veracruz has been one of the worst teams in the 2019 Clausura, currently in 17th place with just one point. Head coach Robert Dante Siboldi has been unable to make a significant impact on this team as Los Escualos face an inevitable substantial fine at the end of the season.
Los Tiburones Rojos do have some talented players like goalkeeper Sebastian Jurado and team captain Cristian Menedez. “Polaco” Menendez can be one of the better Liga MX strikers on his day and could be a huge threat to Chivas’ backline in this clash.
