Leeds reportedly aiming to bring Spanish goalscoring attacker to Elland Road by summer

Leeds United are already preparing for next season regardless of whatever happens at the end of this one, and Spanish publication Diario de Leon claims the club have eyes on Huesca attacking midfielder Álex Gallar ahead of the next transfer window.

The Whites continue to struggle in front of goal when it matters most this term, and they reckon the freescoring winger can help rectify the issue.

Gallar, 25, plays majorly as a left winger, but he can also be deployed in a playmaking midfield role behind a striker.

In the Spanish second division this term, the former Mallorca man has weighed in 5 goals and assists each in 23 games, while a return of 17 goals in 35 games for Cultural Leonesa last season helped the side secure promotion to the Segunda division.

Gallar managed 33 goals in over 100 games for 5 sides prior to that, and his experience, versatility and ability to create and score goals are features that could come handy for Leeds going forward.
