According to reports, David Moyes is unlikely to remain manager of West Ham beyond this season regardless of whether or not the club survives relegation.

The Hammers are currently on a poor run of form and their 3-1 defeat against Brighton and Hove Albion means that they are once again relegation contenders.

They have now also gone three Premier League games without a win and recently suffered a major embarrassment as they were dumped out of the FA Cup by League One side Wigan.

Despite Moyes having taken the club out of the relegation zone following the sacking of SlavenBilic, they are still on the lookout for a new boss and Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez is thought to be a possible candidate to takeover.

The atmosphere in the Hammers backroom appears to be tense after the club failed to secure a number of transfer targets last month. Though they signed Jorda Hugill from Preston, they missed out on Islam Slimani and Ibrahim Amadou.
