Superstar reportedly prefers to join English giants over Tottenham

According to a report published by Diario Gol, Real Madrid star Gareth Bale would prefer to join Manchester United over Tottenham.

The Welshman is one of the players that is expected to be offloaded by the Spanish giants this summer as they are expected to undergo a squad revolution.

One of the rumours circulating is that Madrid could offer Bale to Tottenham in a swap deal which would see Harry Kane arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu as a replacement for Karim Benzema who is also expected to be moved on at the end of this season.

Bale has however made it clear that he prefers a move to Old Trafford rather than to his former club as Jose Mourinho’s team have a better chance of landing silverware.

Mourinho is a fan of the 28-year-old and tried to land him last summer.

Bale joined Madrid in 2013 from Spurs and has gone on to win one La Liga title, one Copa del Rey and three Champions League titles during his time in Spain.
