Tottenham now reportedly set to finish the transfer window without any signings

Tottenham Hotspur top target Malcom appears to be far away from London after the French side Bordeaux refused to lower their £45 demand for the Brazilian forward according to the Sky Sports.

The 20-year-old winger has drawn the attention from several European clubs, including Tottenham following stunning performances in Ligue 1.

The former Corinthians player has been showing prominent class ever since he arrived at Matmut Atlantique in 2016, establishing himself as an indispensable first-team player.

Manager Gus Poyet is looking to keep Malcom at Bordeaux at all costs, as the Girondins are facing a relegation battle this season.

His international fellow, Lucas Moura, is also on the list of potential candidates, as the player stressed his desire to wear the white shirt. However, so far there have been no negotiations because of their asking prices.

Although the Spurs need some depth in the attacking ranks, Mauricio Pochettino has already announced that he has no intention of rushing into high-cost transfers, especially during the January transfer window.
