According to Spanish publication Marca, Real Madrid are preparing to splash £263million on transfers next summer, with Premier League quartet – Tottenham’s Harry Kane, Manchester United’s David de Gea and Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard – on their radar.
The back-to-back Champions League winners are currently struggling domestically this term, trailing runaway La Liga leaders Barcelona with 19 points and failing to qualify for the Copa del Rey’s semifinals.
Reinforcing the attack at Santiago Bernabeu is key going forward, and Kane’s signature is a top target. Having won back to back Premier League golden boots, the England international has seen his stock rise.
Madrid could be ready to spend as much as £150 million to sign Kane, and the offer could be too tempting for both club and player to reject.
The 24-year-old has claimed he would love to finish his career at Tottenham provided the club start winning silverware, and with their top 4 chances appearing slim this term, a summer exit could be on the cards.
