Reliable Leeds source claims linked-duo isn’t on club’s radar

Celtic vs Hearts

According to Yorkshire-based journalist Joe Rawson, Leeds United are not interested in signing Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack, who is currently on loan at Melbourne City, and centre-back Tommy Elphick despite recent claims.

However, the Whites have plans to return with a bid for West Brom striker Tyler Roberts who is currently on loan at League One outfit Walsall.

The Daily Mail reported that Leeds have seen a £4million bid for the 19-year-old knocked back, but it seems manager Thomas Christiansen’s desire to land a striker before the window closes could see them return with another bid.

Roberts is also attracting interest from Rangers and Marseille, but is said to be open to an Elland Road switch.

With 5 goals and 4 assists during the first half of the campaign for the League One outfit, the teenager represents a quality option Leeds could go after in their pursuit of a Premier League ticket at the end of the campaign.

West Brom rate Roberts highly and have offered a deal, but an exit is still on the cards, and Elland Road could be the perfect place for him to realize his potential.
