Tottenham are looking to defeat Manchester United in the race to sign PSG striker Lucas Moura, per the Daily Mail.

The Brazilian forward has been linked with a move away from the French giants, as he has struggled to nail down a regular first team starting position under Unai Emery this season.

Mauricio Pochettino wants to bolster his attacking options and has reportedly identified Moura as a potential target.

Though Spurs will likely look to loan the player, PSG will be looking to sell him permanently, as they look to balance their books and comply with FIFA Financial Fair Play regulations.

PSG will need to make a few big sales after signing Neymar from Barcelona for £198 million.

Moura has only made six appearances for PSG all season and at 25, he is now keen to move on in order to play regular first team football.

Tottenham’s attractive style of play under Pochettino could tempt him. However, with PSG wanting to force a permanent transfer, it is not looking good for a loan move to Tottenham.
