According to a report published by Sports Witness, West Ham striker Diafra Sakho is wanted by Bordeaux and the French Ligue 1 club are expected to make an offer during the coming days.
The 28-year-old striker had tried to move to Rennes during the summer however this move was denied by the clubs former manager Slaven Bilic, who wanted the Senegal international to be a back-up striker this season.
With David Moyes now in charge of the club, Sakho’s wish for a fresh challenge could be granted and he could soon link up with Bordeaux who are looking to bolster their attacking options.
Sakho is keen to leave the London Stadium ahead of the 2018 world cup, where he is likely to be included in the Senegal squad.
In addition to Sakho, the French club are also considering a move for out of favour Newcastle striker AleksandarMitrovic, however they feel that they may struggle to meet the wage demands of the Serbian.
