West Ham star reportedly looking forward to leaving the club

West Ham striker Andy Carroll is now waiting upon Chelsea to follow up in what could be a dream move for the striker.

West Ham co-owner David Sullivan and manager David Moyes insisted on Wednesday morning that there had been no contact between the two clubs over a possible transfer of the striker.

Chelsea reportedly see the 28-year-old as good cover for Alvaro Morata who has recently been struggling for form.

The West Ham board have also grown impatient by the lengthening list of injuries which have limited Carroll’s appearances and are ready to listen to offers for him at the right price. Carroll is open to a move across London.

The prospect of playing for last season’s Premier League winners as well as in the Champions League is something that will be tempting.

Since arriving at the Hammers from Liverpool in 2013, Caroll has gone on to make 86 appearances only, due to injury and it comes as a surprise that Chelsea are interested in him.
