Sky Sports Pundit Matt Le Tissier has said that he believes that the best is yet to come from Tottenham this season and he predicts that they will end up finishing third in the Premier League this season.
Le Tissier said: “Tottenham haven’t had a brilliant first half to the season but they’re still only three points behind fourth and look like they’ve turned the corner, scoring a lot of goals, so I think their best run is to come.”
Spurs have so far been inconsistent this season and are in fifth position and 18 points adrift of leaders Manchester City.
Unlike the previous two seasons, they are not title contenders this season and face a battle just to secure a top four finish.
Maurico Pochettino’s side did however demonstrate what they are capable of in their Champions’ League group as they defeated Real Madrid and also qualified for the last 16 as group winners.
