Tottenham reportedly still have hopes of signing promising attacker this month

Tottenham Hotspur are still hopeful of landing promising Bordeaux forward Malcom after it was revealed that Arsenal are struggling to get the deal over the line – as reported by the Telegraph.

Malcom has been in high demand this season, with many top teams across the Europe chasing the talented forward during the current January transfer window.

Among those interested teams is Arsenal, who are believed to be leading the race for the promising forward but the Gunners inability to finalize the move has reportedly let other teams an opening to hijack the deal.

This means that Tottenham, another team interested in Malcom, will have the opportunity to do one up on their arch rivals by signing the talented forward.

Considering the doubts over the future of Harry Kane, it might be wise for Spurs to sign Malcom and acclimatize him to the Premier League so that he is ready to replace the Englishman should Kane leave for Madrid next season.
