Daily Mail reports that Tottenham scouts are monitoring Nottingham Forest’ talent Ben Brereton. Everton, Leicester, and Crystal Palace are also in the race for his signature.
The 18-year-old forward has quickly become one of the most promising young prospects in England football after breaking through to the Nottingham Forest first team last year. This season, he has scored two goals and provided one assist in 17 league games.
Brereton has particularly impressed with his recent performance against Arsenal in the FA Cup, where he has been one of the best players on the pitch. He has tormented Arsenal midfielders and also managed to score a penalty.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino is known as a manager who likes to give chances to youngsters, and Brereton may be a great investment for the future.
Forest’s academy has produced many great talents, and the club’s management knows how to charge the sale of its players, so interested clubs will probably have to allocate significant funds if they want to bring Brereton into their ranks.
