Kane says he will be loyal to Tottenham as long as this happens

Harry Kane

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has insisted that he will be willing to remain with the club as long as they win trophies.

When questioned about his future, Kane said: “I’ve always said (we need to) just keep progressing, keep getting better. We want to start winning trophies — that’s the aim. As long as the club keeps doing that, then I’m happy here.”

Kane has established himself as one of the world’s best attackers and finished off 2017 with 56 goals which is more than Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

As a result of his form, he has attracted interest from many of the elite clubs of world football including Spanish giants Real Madrid who reportedly see the England international as a pefect replacement for Karim Benzema.

Spurs have some of the world’s best players in their squad such as Hugo Lloris, Kane himself, Dele Alli, Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen.

Some believe that the club could lose many of their stars should they continue failing to win silverware.

The North London club last won a major trophy in 2008 when they claimed the League Cup.
