According to reports from Italy, AC Milan could make a move for Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele this month. Milan are out of form and need reinforcements in midfield as they look to improve their side.
Gennaro Gattuso’s team are currently in 11th position on the Serie A standings with 25 points from 19 games and have not been delivering on the field despite having spent heavily on bolstering their side during the summer transfer window.
Dembele has 18 months remaining on his current deal with Spurs and has been struggling with ankle and hip injuries. It is unlikely that Spurs will be willing to offer him a new contract.
The 30-year old Dembele’s influence at Spurs has declined this season as compared to previous years and perhaps Spurs should seriously consider selling him if Milan do table a good offer.
