According to The Yorkshire Post, Leeds are once again interested in Guingamp striker Yannis Salibur, whose value is estimated at around £7million. The same paper also says that 26-year-old is being linked with Sevilla and Fiorentina.
It is well-known that Leeds are looking for a quality striker that can replace Chris Wood, who has gone to Burnley last summer.
After an unsuccessful attempt to engage Cyle Larin from Orlando City, they seem to have reoriented attention to the French forward.
Salibur progressed through all the youth selection of the French national team, yet, he never got the chance to perform for the senior team.
However, his performance in the French league has been a good recommendation for manager Tomas Christiansen, as the intensity of the competition is similar to the Championship and he is also a versatile forward that can also cover a few positions in the midfield.
The story is only speculation for now though, and this information should be taken with a grain of salt.
