Rangers’ chances of landing Kilmarnock winger Jordan Jones have been dealt a huge blow as English Championship strugglers Hull City are now keen on the 23-year-old.
The Light Blues had plans to come after the Northern Ireland international during the winter transfer window as they look to add depth to their attack.
Jones, most recently of Middlesbrough is also attracting Burnley and Norwich, but a move to Rangers would be perfect for the Ibrox outfit.
The wideman has scored and assisted thrice each in 24 games this term and is a huge reason Kilmarnock are pushing for a top 6 finish.
Rangers can do with additional quality in the final third and would love to land one in the highly-rated Jones.
The youngster’s pace and tricks have been a huge cause of concern for a lot of defence this term, and that ability of his to stretch the opposition rearguard and create goalscoring chances are qualities Rangers could benefit from.
However, with a chance to return to England beckoning, it’s hard to see the Gers with any slim chance of landing their man.
