Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has claimed that Harry Kane is the best striker that he has ever played with.
Kane made headlines this week as he scored a hat-trick during his team’s 5-2 win against Southampton in the Premier League.
The England internationals goals also meant that he has overtaken Alan Shearer’s record for most goals in a top flight calendar year as he took his tally for 2017 to 36.
During his career Lloris has had the opportunity of playing alongside superstars such as Thierry Henry, Nicolas Anelka and Kylian Mbappe but he insists that Kane is the greatest forward that he has played against.
He said: “I’ve never played with a striker capable of scoring so many goals in a year. I’ve played with a lot of top strikers and probably he is the best I’ve played with.”
Kane has won the Premier League’ s golden boot award during the past two consecutive seasons and there is no doubt that he is among the World’s top strikers.
