According to BetVictor, Rangers are favorites to land Norwich City striker Steven Naismith ahead of the likes of Leeds, Sunderland and Aberdeen.
The former Gers star recently revealed he’s keen on a return to Ibrox having struggled for both form and game time since the beginning of the campaign with the English Championship outfit.
Naismith has played just 3 games in all competitions for the Canaries thus far, largely due to an injury spell, and regular football isn’t guaranteed once he returns to action.
The 31-year-old left Rangers in 2012 for Everton following 132 appearances across all competitions over the course of 5 seasons in which he scored 33 goals.
Naismith won the Scottish topflight with the Light Blues thrice on a roll, and could help bring back the glory days with his tons of experience.
The club are hoping to beat Aberdeen to 2nd place come May and are looking to add some quality additions to the squad over the January transfer window to get it done.
In Naismith, a top attacking talent could be acquired as the club go in search of the best men to help get the job done next month.
