West Ham to reportedly face competition in their hopes of signing top midfield target
West Ham could be set to face competition from Italian club Napoli in the race to sign Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.
Wilshere’s current deal with the Gunners is set to expire at the end of the season and he has yet to agree to new terms with the club.
Considering that he is no longer a first team regular for Arsene Wenger’s side, there is a good chance that the England international will be open to moving to a new club.
It has now emerged that Napoli are exploring the possibility of signing the England international on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Aside from his injury troubles, Wilshere is a talented player and was once heralded as the future of English football so there will certainly be no shortage of clubs that will be interested in signing him.
In addition to Napoli, AC Milan are also said to be interested.
