According to reports, Liverpool’s Marko Grujic is a target of a number of Championship clubs with Aston Villa chief among them.
Grujic was the first signing of Jurgen Klopp when the German arrived at the Reds in 2015, however he has failed to establish himself as a first team regular at Anfield and has managed just six first team appearances.
Grujic is now keen to play as regularly as possible during the second half of the season in order to try and win a place in the Serbia national team for the 2018 World Cup.
Aston Villa are reportedly keen on signing Grujic in January in order to bolster their side as they aim to challenge for Premier League promotion.
Villa manager Steve Bruce is said to believe that his midfield needs to be improved and this is why Grujic could prove to be a smart signing for his side.
