Ex-West Ham manager Bilic reveals his conversation with Moyes

Former West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has spoken out about the conversation that he had with David Moyes after the Scot was appointed as the new manager of the Hammers.

Bilic was appointed as manager of the Hammers in 2015 and led the club to an impressive seventh place finish in the Premier League during the 2015-16 season.

That was however as good as it got for the Croatian and after the club performed poorly this season, he was sacked in November and replaced by Moyes.

Bilic has now spoken out about the chat that he had with Moyes saying, “I’ve known him since he was at Everton, we would have chats about his striker Nikica Jelavic, who also played for Croatia,” Bilic told The Daily Mail about a phone conversation with Moyes.

“We had a relaxed chat about West Ham — why not? — but the details aren’t for the paper. To be fair, a lot of the things he said were exactly the points I would have made.”
