According to reports, Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo wants Tottenham ace Harry Kane to replace Karim Benzema, who is struggling for form this season.
Kane has firmly established himself as one of the World’s top strikers and has been in fine form this season, scoring 18 goals from 20 appearances which has led to him being linked with a move to Madrid as well as Manchester United.
Madrid have so far been underwhelming this season by their standards and this has also coincided with a drop in form from Benzema. The French international has only scored five goals in all competitions and two goals from 11 La Liga games.
Madrid will be keen to keep Ronaldo happy and they are no stranger to forking out huge sums of money in order to recruit the World’s best talent so it will certainly come as no surprise if they do submit an offer for Kane.
