Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino says that he has no preference over who his side will be drawn to play against in the last 16 stage of the Champions League.

After winning their group which also featured Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, Spurs head into Monday’s draw as one of the top seeds.

Due to rules, no one side can face another from their group or from their domestic league.

This means that Spurs could be drawn against Basel, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Sevilla,Shakhtar Donetsk or Porto.

Spurs fans will certainly be keen to avoid Bayern or Juventus, however Pochettino thinks that whoever his side faces will be difficult and adds that he does not have a preference.

“No, no preference,” Pochettino said when asked who he would like to face.

“Whoever we draw we welcome. If you want to go further in the Champions League, every team that qualifies for the next round is a strong team.”
