Tottenham and Manchester United reportedly handed huge boost in race for youngster

Fulham have reportedly resigned themselves to the fact that they will lose Tottenham and Manchester United target Ryan Sessegnon as they have begun looking for a replacement.

The Championship side are looking to replace the 17-year-old in January and they are aware that they will lose the youngster in January.

Fulham were initially hesitant to sell the player but now look to have changed their minds.

Sessegnon has been impressive this season and has scored four goals including a hat-rick during Fulham’s 5-4 victory over Sheffield United while he also helped the England U19 team win the European Championships this year.

United are looking for a new left-back with Luke Shaw expected to be offloaded in the near future.

It however remains to be seen whether Jose Mourinho will be willing to take a chance on a player that his so inexperienced in top flight football.

Considering that Mauricio Pochettino has a good reputation in terms of dealing with young talent, a move to Spurs could be appealing for Sessegnon.
