As per the Sun, Everton, Liverpool and West Ham are amongst a host of several clubs keen on bringing £5million-rated FC Liverpool winger Federico Martinez to Europe come next month.
The 21-year-old Uruguay international is lighting up the scenes at Montevideo, with the Reds scouts in South America impressed by his performances thus far.
Martinez’s swift growth in recent years have had many tipping him to break into the Uruguayan squad for next year’s World Cup, while he has also been compared with a young Angel Di Maria due to his style of play on the flanks.
Apart from the Merseysiders and the Hammers, Swansea are also keen, while Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund and Serie A duo Napoli and Roma are keeping tabs.
Martinez is one of the brightest youngsters in the Primera Division, and has gone on to make 67 appearances for Liverpool since his debut in June 2015.
As with a lot of South American talents, a move to Europe is almost certain, and given the many praises that have been showered on the versatile forward who’s able to play on both wings, one of his suitors could be landing a real gem in Martinez.
